The Power of a Strong Support System: Surround Yourself with Those Who Lift You Up

Last night, I had the joy of reconnecting with two fellow coaches from my time at the Certified Life Coach Institute. From the moment we met in class, they left a lasting impression on me, and we’ve kept in touch ever since. Seeing their faces on our Zoom call and sharing space with them, even virtually, filled my heart with happiness.
We caught up, discussed our 2025 goals, and encouraged one another—cheering on each other’s wins and offering support where needed. After the call, it struck me just how important it is to have a solid support system. Women uplifting other women, celebrating each other's successes, and truly wanting the best for one another is something so valuable.
This reminded me of the beautiful German word freudenfreude, which translates to "joy in joy"—the happiness you feel for someone else’s accomplishments as if they were your own. That’s exactly what I experienced on this call, and it made me reflect on how grateful I am for my own circle of support—my husband, my family, my friends, and colleagues who inspire and motivate me.
In a world where more people are working from home and experiencing greater isolation, having a strong, uplifting community is more important than ever. Do you have people in your life who encourage and support you? Someone to celebrate your wins or help brainstorm solutions when things don’t go as planned?
Recognizing this need for connection, I am starting a Women’s Lead Club in my area—a space for women to come together, network, and build one another up. If you’re interested in being part of this community, I’d love to hear from you! Drop me a note in the contact form, and I’ll include you in future communications about our meetings.
Let’s build something beautiful together! Remember, you are enough.
